How does MDFT achieve its effects? In this segment Gayle Dakof, PhD, breaks down the MDFT approach by outlining core change mechanisms that have been described in MDFT process research studies. Dr. Dakof describes how MDFT is organized, and makes the approach come alive through her description of the MDFT way of talking with kids and families, and how therapists use themselves in promoting change and healing.
Dr. Dakof directs MDFT International, a non-profit organization sponsoring MDFT dissemination and training – www.mdft.org
See the two articles linked below for additional material on the MDFT process studies, and key aspects of the MDFT treatment.

Hey guys in this video we count down the top five herbs and medicinal plants for healing cuts and wounds. All too often we get small cuts or sometimes even large ones. Thankfully there are all kinds of plants and herbs that can help us. Whether its for cleaning, closing the cut, or a natural band aid these plants have you covered and are easy to use. Plants like Yarrow have long been known for their ability to heal large cuts and Plantain is renown for it’s antibacterial properties, but there are some like Boneset that you may not even know about.
These plants and herbs can be found in your yard or local park and are easy to use. All can be applied directly onto the skin near the wound but also used in a wash or tincture form. One can even make a natural band aid alternative by putting sap from the White Pine over the cut. There are more plants that can be used for for cuts so this list is not inclusive, but it does contain some of the best plants for cuts.
I thank you guys for watching this video I hope you enjoyed it and I hope you learned something. If you want to learn more about edible or medicinal plants make sure to subscribe!

A Special Economic Zone in southern China, Zhuhai is a scenic delight but a poor economic achiever. The reason for its poor economic record is that, unusually, the city’s planners care less about making money than they do about preserving mother nature. Polluting industries are not welcome in Zhuhai. Perhaps it is for this reason that nature lends a hand in treating the patients of Dr Yang Yongshu, a 60-year-old woman, trained in Western medicine, who heals without surgery, medication, or the latest technology. Dr Yang is China’s most famous practitioner of qi gong (pronounced chee-gung), a centuries-old form of traditional medicine which claims to harness psychic energy to diagnose disease and cure the sick. Dr. Yang describes her natural healing treatment as two parts medical science — techniques derived from Oriental and Western medicine — and one part qi gung, or the doctor’s ability to channel her special energy, or air, into the body of the patient.
Chinese medicine holds that the body is composed of passages or meridians which form a network linking the lymphatic, circulatory and nervous systems through the vital organs. The
nub of Dr. Yang’s therapy is to clear these passages and enable the body to heal itself naturally.

Dr Yang SOT (in Mandarin): “From my own experience, as I first studied Western medicine, Western medical science is clearly defined. it’s easy for people to understand. Chinese medicine is also a science of high level, but its contents are broad. It involves every part of and everything related with the body. It is not easy for ordinary people to understand. It demands a high level of education and culture to understand and study it, and experience it.”
